February 23, 2007, Newsletter Issue #52: Velour Bathrobe Tips

Tip of the Week

Velour is a plush, velvety fabric with a stretchy knit backing used for many bath robes. The plush portion is often cotton with the backing being a cotton/poly blend. Wool and various man-made fibers can be made into velour fabric. Velour can have the look of crushed velvet and appears to change color depending on how it is viewed. It is insulating and soft to the touch. Zip front robes are often made of velour.
