September 15, 2006, Newsletter Issue #31: Terry Cloth Bathrobe Tips

Tip of the Week

Terrycloth, sometimes called loop terry, is a fabric with excellent moisture absorbing properties. For this reason, it is a popular choice for bathrobes. It is easy to launder and needs no ironing. The fabric has loop pile on one or both sides and is normally made of cotton. The longer the loop, the greater the absorbency. Higher quality terry cloth has a close, firm weave and closed loops.
