Size Matters

Bath robes for kids begin at the toddler size. To size for your boy or girl, measure from the back of your child's neck down to just above the knee. Compare the measurement to the robe's length. Next time you visit the expecting parents, just inquire politely where your friend purchased the towels in the bathroom then purchase your supplies from the same location. Use the matching towels to make a baby bathrobe or wraps. Or, get some photographs of the baby's parents transferred onto cotton fabric. Cut out the photos and sew it onto the bathrobe as patches. Use bright colors and big stitches to add kitsch.
